Public Issues

“We are committed to ensuring that the development agenda of Bihar benefits all sections of society, with a particular focus on the poorest and most vulnerable communities,” said Dr. Suman. “Our government is focusing on improving irrigation facilities to boost agriculture and creating policies that uplift Scheduled Castes through education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.”

Dr. Suman also discussed ongoing initiatives under his ministry, particularly in the Minor Irrigation sector, where efforts are being made to improve water availability for farmers and enhance agricultural productivity. He stated that the state government’s efforts to improve irrigation infrastructure would ensure that no farmer, especially in rural and backward areas, would have to face the challenges of water scarcity.
